The Pollack Expo is a long-standing trade fair and exhibition at Pécs, Hungaria, where companies and manufacturers from the surrounding areas can be represented.
The purpose of the event is to introduce participants new tools and solutions, thereby informing students and professionals and raising their interest towards innovations. At the event Péter Papp from E.ON Dél-dunántúli Áramhálózati Zrt. attended to represent IElectrix and its Hungarian demonstration HELGA (Hungarian Energy Storage: Local Communities for Global Advantage).
Péter highlighted the importance of the project and the battery energy storage systems and its benefits. According to him, "I find the topic very interesting and forward-looking, which has been confirmed by the feedbacks." There was great interest in the project and the audience turned to Péter with several questions.
The success of the project and E.ON at the event was also demonstrated by the fact that E.ON won the Pollack Expo award this year. In Peter's words: "It was a great experience for me and I am very grateful to have been able to represent the project in the event".
The next Pollack Expo will take place in February, 2021 in Pécs, Hungary. The HELGA demonstration plans to participate and show their progress.
