On the 18th of October 2021, IElectrix took part in a workshop entitled "Energy Storage Systems: Key players for the European energy transition" during the 2021 edition of the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
The EUSEW is the biggest annual conference dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe, organised by the European Commission. This year’s digital event focused on the theme “Towards 2030: reshaping the European Energy System ”.
On Monday, 18 October 2021, IElectrix joined other H2020 projects (COMPILE; FLEXnCONFU; MERLON; MUSE GRIDS; ROBINSON) for a session organized by the Regulation Working Group of the BRIDGE initiative, on how Energy Storage Systems are key components to reshape European Energy Systems in the next decade and to reach the EU sustainable targets.
IElectrix's Project Coordinator Pierre-Jacques Le Quellec gave a presentation on the progress made on each of the demonstrations. He also unveiled the first key findings of the project and described the challenges encountered during the sanitary crisis.
