All consortium partners met in E.ON headquarters to launch IElectrix project.

All consortium members of IElectrix project met on the 16th of July, in E.ON headquarters in Essen, Germany. They marked the official launch of the project, which begun on the 1st of May. Partially funded by the European Commission through Horizon 2020 programme, IElectrix aims at developing innovative technical solutions and economical business models to facilitate the implementation of Local Energy Communities (LEC) and the integration of renewable energy sources (RES). It brings together 15 European partners and one Indian partner in order to experiment micro-grids, through 5 demonstrators.

This meeting was the occasion for all people involved into the project to meet up and to exchange about the different work packages and demonstration pilots. The first General Assembly has been hold.

IElectrix team will be present at the European Utility Week 2019, a key event in the energy sector, to introduce the project. From 12 to 14 November 2019, Paris, France.
